Shoe painting: This painting was done in an activity in art class, it took a lot of time and effort, eventually it made itself into the school chronicle.

Ever since I was young I have had a passion for drawing, I would always doodle on my work sheets or draw something small on the table.

Chocolate/ snakes: I have always loved lollies and biscuits and other sweets. I eat them every day, a little treat in my lunchbox and a little treat when I get home. My  favourite lollies are musk sticks, sour snakes, marshmallows, Oreos, truffles and Teddy bear biscuits.

Soft Jumper:  this represents soft things, I really like soft things, soft stuff is the only stuff I wear I will never wear jeans or any rough  material. For me soft clothing feels really comfy and makes me feel warm.

football boot:  this represents my experience with the footy I have been playing for 2 seasons and really enjoy it. I play for the Kew Comets, last year we came 2nd out of the whole  season .

Bob: I love all animals but my favourite animal is a cat and my  favourite cat is Bob, my cat. Bob and I love cuddles and playing together, he sleeps on my bed, he goes on walks with us, and loves going in the car and going down the lift. He thinks he’s a dog.

Toona Camp = AMAZING

Camp was AMAZING.

One of my highlights was getting up at five and watching the sunrise.

My second highlight was arriving and finding out who was in our cabins.

My third highlight was learning a new game called King Ball.

A challenge I faced was when we played a game called The Photo Rally. We all got a photo and tried to find where the picture was taken, then we would come back and get another photo.

Another challenge I faced was when we where playing King Ball. You had to partner up with someone, your friend might be with someone else and you would have to partner with someone you’ve never been partners with.

This was a challenge because I had to work with people that I had not worked with before.

I bonded with Charlie when we where playing King Ball, we both worked together really well together we switched places each time and got in King together.

My most memorable moment was dinner, the yummy food they had was so delicious. The first night we had burritos, the second night we had hamburgers and the third night we had lasagne.

A PLA that I used was collaboration, Zoë and I were in a kayak together we had to work together to get to the other side of the island.

Special thanks to Jazz and Coco for coming on camp with us. We will never forget the Afterburners and Jazz’s Jellybeans!

The literature festival

CCL

My favourite part of the literature festival was working at the treasure hunt booth.

We where packed for a full minute and then everyone had gone to look for the books. When people started returning the sheets it was the end of the festival so we calculated everyones time and announced the winner in assembly on that Friday. There where lots of other booths there was the, guess how many pages in the book booth, guess the author booth, colouring in booth and more on the day of the festival Mark Wilson came to see the year 5’s he taught us how he drew as a little kid and how he and most of his family was in the war it was a really fun experience for me and I wish the other grades where there to see him too.
